Greg Jury announces candidacy for Loves Park Mayor – WIFR

LOVES PARK, Ill. (WIFR) — The retirement announcement of Loves Park Mayor Darryl Lindberg leaves a seat wide open, and an alderman is now throwing his hat into the ring.

First Ward Alderman Greg Jury has served for 18 years as an alderman, and two years in civil service prior to that, but now the native Loves Park resident announces he will be running for mayor.

Jury says his main goal is to continue the growth Loves Park has seen and wants to work with other elected leaders to move the city forward.
